Pink

I've been drawing a lot of shoes lately after mentioning to one of my lecturers at uni that during my spare time I just love fashion illustration. My course focuses on fine art so the work I create there is completely different, and I must admit I do prefer my illustrations of clothes and shoes, even though that may seem quite child like to them. I sort of wish I studied illustration, although 3 years ago I had no clue what I wanted to do and art seemed like the best option.

Sorry I haven't posted in over a week too. I've spent a lot more time out the house this week so whenever I get back it's too dark to post outfits. I'll try and post one tomorrow, if not I have a pair of shoes to show that I got for 12 quid in the sale, hells yes!

this is one of my favs yet, they look so good. they do have a childlike quality to them but you can tell by the detail and precision that it's someone with experience. you should be really proud of all these. have a nice weekend tatty

AMAZING DRAWINGS! i'm currently deciding what specialism of art to study at uni and was wondering what you are currently doing in your course? xxxx

At least in taking art as a more general course you can't get sick of the thing you're specialising in (this is me being very ignorant of what's actually covered in an art degree). Clearly you studies have been a help, I love how this illustration has turned out! xx

Ohmygawddddd seriously you're so talented! I think you should make a post all about your fashion illustrations? it would be so great Katie! :D I also like to draw shoes, I do it when I'm bored during a class, so yeah I have a lot of shoe sketches on my math notebook.

I love the colours on this one! And I felt exactly the same at A-level. My teachers always wanted us to do really abstract stuff but I always preferred doing nice little fashion illustrations :)

You are so very talented! I love these shoes, you work really well with colour too. I normally stick to graphite pencil drawings as I can never seem to get colours right, but I love the light that hits these shoes - it makes them so life-like and three-dimensional! :-)
